It’s time for the annual reveal, this is one of the most exciting moments in the life of an event designer or planner… Drum roll, Pantone announced the Color of the Year for 2019! LIVING CORAL – 16-1546
I love it!!! It’s such a positive, inviting and energizing color without being too “loud”. In fact, it can be used pretty much with any other color for fantastic palettes! Pantone describes Living Coral as a color that “emits the desired, familiar and energizing aspects of color found in nature. In its glorious, yet unfortunately more elusive, display beneath the sea, this vivifying and effervescent color mesmerizes the eye and mind. Lying at the center of our naturally vivid and chromatic ecosystem, PANTONE Living Coral is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of color.“ I remember designing so many beautiful weddings in the past with Living Coral in mind, I think Living Coral is the perfect complement to any blush-hued palette for 2019, and it can provide a rich color accent for a vibrant year ahead.
